Well it now 2010 and I hope that you all had a great new year's celebration. I was talking to Tobra on Friday and we both believe that it is time to take this blog site to a new level. Instead of reporting on dealing with cancer we are going to make this a site that will focus now on healing from cancer.
I truly believe that this journey is for a purpose. I again want to say thank you to everyone that has followed along and prayed for my healing. I still covet your prayers but want to open up the prayer lines to others that are fighting this battle. I want to use my experience to help others that are going through it...either personally or with a loved one. It seems like over the past couple of months I have had several people cross my path that are struggling with this disease. It is not easy, there are so many emotions that you go through but it is easier if you have a support team to get you through it. So now we want to use this blog site for just that reason. I will continue to post how I feel and share my experiences and I encourage all of you to join in. Share how you are feeling, report your progress or request prayer for a specific purpose. I know that the only reason that I got through this journey was because of all of my prayer warriors out there and I want to open that channel up to others.
Keep checking back for new posts. Tobra is going to work on the look of the site because she is so much more creative. It would be wonderful if this site would become a healing place for others that are struggling with this horrible monster called cancer. A place to be encouraged, uplifted and reminded that God is greater than cancer!
Because of Christ, I am looking forward to life again!
